Artist Profile

Born in Bournemouth in 1975, Sam studied Foundation in Art & Design at Shelley Park then completed an HND in Animation at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. She worked in the Animation industry for a number of years producing work for CH4, S4C, and American Television with her own work screened at numerous National and International Animation Festivals.

Sam went on to teach Animation for over three years to a variety of age groups and abilities.

Moving to Brighton in 2004 Sam drew inspiration from the surrounding Sussex area and combines observations of the moving figure. Her work has been exhibited accross Sussex and London.
